Old Toy Trains by Ian Foster and Nancy Hynes
A Week in December, the Christmas album by Ian Foster and Nancy Hynes has be come a bit of a modern classic.
Largely, I’d wager, because it contains some fantastic new Christmas compositions. I love both the title track and ‘Old Christmas Day.’
The album has it’s share of familiar favourites, too and today’s NL Music Advent Calendar selections is one of those — ‘Old Toy Trains’.
The song’s been recorded by lots of people but, Foster and Hynes’ take is my favourite.
