Sheila’s Brush

As I said in the last episode, winter in Newfoundland can be truly awful. And the winter weather doesn’t stop just because the calendar says its Spring. The end of March and even April can bring some terrible storms.

One of NL’s most famous storms happens at the end of March. Known as Sheila’s Brush, this storm follows St. Patrick’s Day (maybe). This episode explores the origins, folklore and stories surrounding Sheila’s Brush.
